Pechersk Landscape Park is a beautiful park in Kiev. It enjoys a great location between Slavy Park/Pechersk Lavra and the National Botanic Garden.
At its heart is an open space known as the Singing Field. This area comes to life in the summer months when it is used for as a venue for celebrations (Kiev Day, Victory Day, and Ukrainian Independence Day) and various exhibitions (flower shows etc.).
The closest Metro stations are Pecherska (Green Line) and Arsenalna (Blue Line).
It’s perhaps best to use Arsenalna. Exit the station and turn left. After around ¾ mile you’ll reach Pechersk Landscape Park. On the way you’ll pass Slavy Park, Mystetski Arsenal (art gallery), and Pechersk Lavra. All are worth visiting.
Pechersk Landscape Park is free to enter. There’s often a small charge for exhibitions in the Singing Field.
Pechersk Landscape Park forms part of a series of connected public parks running along the western shore of the Dnieper River. Taking a leisurely walk through the parks is a fantastic way to spend a sunny day.
From north to south, the parks are Khreshchatyk Park, City Garden, Mariinsky Park, Askold’s Grave Park, Slavy Park (Park of Glory), Pechersk Landscape Park, and the National Botanical Garden.
