Vokzalna (literally station) is a Metro station on the Red Line. It is situated right next to Kiev Train Station.
Bear in mind that there are no elevators at Vokzalna Metro Station; only escalators. Large bags and suitcases are not permitted on the Metro.
Taxis wait near the station entrance, but always agree a price before getting into the vehicle.
There are plenty of food stalls and small shops in the area between the Metro and train stations. There are also McDonald’s and McFoxy restaurants here, plus plenty of places to eat and drink within the train station building itself.
Tourist attractions and places of interest in the area include Kiev Railway Museum (on platform 14 of Kiev Train Station) and Ultramarine Bowling.
Adjacent stations on the Red Line are Politekhnichnyi Instytut, to the west, and Universytet, towards the east and city centre.
