Although Ukraine’s official language is Ukrainian, Russian is the most commonly used in Kiev. Most of the population is bi-lingual to a certain extent.
Hello. I may recommend the School Echo Eastern Europe as they have great teachers and quite reasonable costs. So I have enjoyed Russian classes with them recently and improved my language skills a lot. As far as I know that School is the only one in Ukraine where you can pass official TORFL exam at the moment. Good luck!
There are quite a few languages schools I’ve heard plus hundreds, if not thousands of private tutors. If you want a formal course try the Novamova International Language School. I’ve never been there personally but intend to do a course when I’ve got time. I’ve heard good things and they’ve got a fairly slick website and active Facebook page that suggests they’re a reputable school.
