Arena is a large entertainment complex in Kiev popular with locals, expats and tourists alike.
Spread over 4 floors it has something for everyone. A dance club with superstar DJs and an impressive sound system is the main draw. Other offerings include a sports bar, beer house, and a karaoke lounge.
Arena enjoys a great city centre location at the lower end of Khreschatyk, right next to Kiev’s famous Bessarabsky Market.
The outdoor plaza occasionally hosts major concerts. Acts performing have included 50 Cent and Kraftwerk.

Don is right. I’ve been to Kiev dozens of times. If you act like you are superior to a Ukrainian person then you will have problems. I have never ever had any problem with any club or bar in Kiev, even Shooters with the legendary dumb security. The Arena club is the ‘commercial’ face of Kiev. By commercial I mean here it is the all too familiar ‘buy your girl’ club people in what is actually a very good club. Visually and musically it’s better than anything we have in the UK. So just accept it and enjoy it! I won’t tell you where the real Ukrainianse go. Come often enough and you will find out. This is another reason why Arena is the tourist centre of nightlife, easy to find and easy to be cattled into this one.
Over priced and over rated. Lots of fake people trying to look important. Americans will have to pay extra. I mean more than the usual. If you sit down expect the bouncers to try to take 2500 hrv. They will claim that is the price for having a seat or a table. You can always leave like I did when they threaten you. Expect gorillas to escort you out and try to scare you into paying. I was always nice and the club was empty. This was a Friday night.
It’s a very good place for to dance! Many beautiful people are here on Saturday nights.
I’m an American and never had any problems entering this massive place. Those guy’s at the door are actually pretty cool as long as you don’t give them attitude. The ladies working there were just as nice. Always got me a big hug from them. Nice spot.
