Occupying a prime spot close to St Sophia’s Cathedral the Da Vinci Fish Club enjoys a loyal following of businessmen, diplomats and models. Needless to say, prices at this swanky Italian restaurant aren’t for the faint of heart.

The Da Vinci has a new chef since my last visit but the quality has not changed. It is still some of the best food in a city of truly great restaurants. My wife and I had a marvellous dinner (based on the recommendations of our server) and there was nothing that wasn't Silver Service perfect. The chef's pasta diswes are a must try. In a city of so much change, it is nice to know that some restaurants never, ever relax their standards. The Da Vinci is fast becoming a required stop on any trip through Kyiv for my wife and I.

This place is over rated in my humble opinion. A classic example of a place Ukrainians think is fancy and have nothing to compare it to. There are better places to see girls and I go to restaurants because of the food, service and ambiance. I give average ratings on all. Sorry.

Whenever I visit Kiev I always visit this wonderful place. Great food and beautiful sights...if you know what I mean.
