PaTiPa

Patipa opened in 2005 and quickly established itself as one of Kiev’s most popular nightclubs.

The 2-level club is one of the best designed in the city. Dance the night away on the lower floor or take a VIP booth on the upper and watch the crowd cavort below.

DJs spin commercial dance to a mixture of locals, expats, and tourists. Most clubbers are in their 20s.

Patipa is situated on Muzeny in Kiev city centre, just up from European Square at the northern end of Khreschatyk. The closest Metro station is at Independence Square (Maidan Nezalezhnosti).

It’s open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 pm onwards.

Awful place, staffed by xenophobic bouncers who think they're funny. Kiev, for whatever reason, hasn't got any good nightclubs. PaTiPa is among the worst of a very bad bunch.

A horrible, pretentious pick-up joint perfect for synthetic sluts and horny, desperate foreigners. If you belong to neither of the above groups, you're missing nothing.

We were on the guest list for the Punjabi MC gig and the bouncers wouldn't let us in. Face control, they said. I wasn't dressed shabbily, but I am NOT white. When I asked the bugger if he was a racist, his response was that he wasn't because he had a black friend who was a rapper. Ya right!

We were there in September 2010. We had a great time. Our second visit and worth it. Great time and atmosphere.

By far the best club in Kiev. Small, crowded and gorgeous women dancing to funky house music. Met 3 girls from Minsk in here once and 2 ended up back at my apartment around the corner by the stadium. What a night.

I was there one August one night and this weekend on September. I like the situation going on there, especially on RnB nights. I want to be there at all week-ends. I love Kiev and love Patipa.
