Mariyinsky Park

Kiev’s Mariyinsky Park is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. This popular park runs along the banks of the Dnipro and is easily accessed from the centre.

A bandstand hosts outdoor concerts throughout the summer months. The park is also home to the baroque Mariyinsky Palace, the ceremonial residence of the President of Ukraine.

At the northern end of the park you'll find the 'Friendship of the Nations' monument, a giant titanium arch over statues of two brothers; Russia and Ukraine.
Here you'll find the best views of the river and the city's Right Bank.
