2005 saw welcome arrival of the city’s first international hotel. Built at a cost of almost $60 million the Radisson Blu has, if nothing else, driven up standards in the rest of Kiev’s hotel sector.
Situated in Kiev’s diplomatic district, around ½ mile from Khreschatyk, the Radisson offers just over 250 rooms and suites. All offer air conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities, a flat-screen LCD television, free broadband internet, hairdryer, mini-bar and safe. Business Class rooms offer a few extras such as a buffet breakfast, newspaper and in-house movies.
Bistro Côté Est restaurant serves modern international cuisine, while Mille Miglia offers Italian dishes in a stylish setting. The K-Largo Cigar Bar is located in the lobby and is a good place to enjoy a cocktail or snack.
Leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, Finnish sauna, steam bath and solarium.
The Kiev Radisson also boasts a business centre offering translation services, photocopying and fax facilities, typing and printing services, and computer rentals.

I was pleased with my room. It was spacious, clean and bright and provided a good working environment. I also found the buffet breakfast excellent and there was plenty of choice. The staff were reasonably friendly and seemed to be trying their best, but there were a couple of misunderstandings due to a slight language barrier. I think they could do some work here. Everything considered though, not bad.
Rivals the Hyatt as the best business hotel in Kiev.
I think it will be good for travellers and business people alike now that a real international chain has hit Kiev. My room was beautifully furnished and very clean and comfortable and had all mod cons including broadband internet and flat screen TV. Customer care was quite good and the majority of the staff seemed eager to please. Last but not least is the excellent buffet breakfast. Definitely in the top 5 in Kiev.
