Situated on European Square at the northern end of Khreschatyk, Kiev’s Dnipro Hotel enjoys a great location close to Independence Square and many other city centre attractions.
The 4-star hotel offers almost 200 rooms. All include direct dial telephone, internet access and satellite TV.
Restaurants and bars include the Dnipro Restaurant, Munich Bar and Panorama Bar. A privately-run casino and strip bar also operate from the hotel.
Leisure facilities include a swimming pool, sauna, massage and gym. The Dnipro also has a fully-equipped salon offering massage and a range of beauty treatments.
Great location, but most other things need working on.
It was very convenient staying here on business and the hotel is ok, if a little overpriced for what you get for your money. Some of the staff need to learn a thing or two about customer care and even though they would usually comply with your request you got the distinct impression that they were being put out.
Undoubtedly the best thing about this place is the location, right in the centre of Kiev and very handy for the Metro. The room was ok; clean and comfortable, but it could’ve been a bit bigger and it was a bit on the noisy side. The staff were reasonably efficient, but didn’t really seem to enjoy their work. Not that bad overall I guess.
